This is a Learning Commons instructional video. This video will show you how to access your
account using the Primo system. So, to access your account you go to the Primo webpage.
Underneath the search widget click on the hyperlink to go to Primos separate page.
Now that you're on the Primos main page go into the upper right-hand corner and click sign in.
Now you just need to type in your last name and your student id number and then click log in.
Now, you can look up to the right and you can click on my account.
Now, the first page that shows up shows you everything that you currently have checked out shows
you the title, the date that it's due and where you checked it out from. If you have
the option to renew it on-line. Then, underneath action will be a spot to renew your material.
If you look over on the left-hand side you can look through what you currently have checked
out. You can click on requests and you can look at any holds that you have placed. Now,
in the last video I placed a hold for a Math book to be picked up in New Richmond and now
we can see that hold is placed here. Now, if you've placed a hold that you didn't mean
to of if you picked the wrong one then you can cancel it. So looking here, you see the
title of the hold that I placed. Position one means that I'm the first person to receive
it as soon as the item if available. I pick it up in New Richmond but then in the last
section here I have an action where I can cancel. I click cancel, a message pops up,
you just click ok, and you've cancelled your hold. This is used for if you, like I said,
picked the wrong title, if you changed your mind, maybe a book or a better book on campus
and you don't need that one anymore. There's also an option here where you can
review your fines and fees, if you have any late fees or anything you can click on that
and also you can change personal settings. You can change your mailing address, e-mail,
phone number and that kind of stuff. So, that is the very quick, basic way to log into your
account and some of the options that you have. For information you can visit Primos' webpage
at www.witc.edu/library/primo. You can also stop into your LRC to ask any questions.
