The way it's inside of us -- and it's not the same way for everybody, but that's what
it was for me. It was a sacrificial lamb, anytime I ever heard the word "sacrifice."
So it was bad to sacrifice. You want to hang onto that. When I talk about sacrifice now,
we must give up something of a lower nature in order to have something of a higher nature.
That's sacrifice. Doesn't mean something has to die, the way it was programmed in me. But
you just let it go. You let go of something of a lower nature in order to have the space
to receive something of a higher nature.
And the biggest thing about sacrifice, where we won't allow for this to happen, is in our
belief system. Our belief system is our subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind is our feeling
mind, and all the feelings that we have came from experiences that we've been through in
our lifetime. Everybody with me on that? So that means that we believe something based
on what happened to us when we were five years old. But we're 50, and we still believe a
feeling that we had when we were five years old. How stupid is that? And we won't let
that go.
That's of a lower nature. The way I processed my thoughts and drew my conclusions when I
was five years old is of a much lower nature than the way I can today process and draw
conclusions. But we don't want to let go of this.
