Hello everybody!
We are Anton and Valentin Stötzer!
Today, we would like to
show you a special project.
It is the world's first Video Sinforial
that we produced together with Sinfo Tübingen
and conductor Kiril Stankow.
A Video Sinforial is a whole new idea.
A combination of symphony and video tutorial.
A kind of online concert talk.
Conductor and orchestra guide through the symphony.
Kiril Stankow had the idea.
And the two of us took care
to make this dream come true.
However, how do you film an orchestra?
We are musicians and hobby film makers
not a television studio.
How can you get the best out of it then?
So, we got to work, planned, organized,
outlined, funded
and created a film team
with the voluntary help of our friends.
The result was a professional audio recording,
steadycam, lighting, tie clip microphon,
and everything else necessary.
We've shot with 9 cameras simultaneously,
so you can get the feeling
of being right in the thick of it.
Having this large set, we shot
the very first Video Sinforial
together with conductor Kiril Stankow,
and the Young Symphony Orchestra
of the Tübingen Music School.
It is about Symphony 4 by Gustav Mahler.
Sinfo.Tübingen have already dealt
with this composer for a very long time.
We are happy to tell you
that this first Video Sinforial
is done being cut
and will be realsed very soon.
Let's have an insight in it.
These incredibly cheeky sleigh bells,
like a sleigh ride,
and this little bell, far away,
sounds a lot like Christmas.
It sounds the bell of a liberated atmosphere.
Now, I would like our super solist
Johanna Pommranz to come to the front.
We enjoy heavenly pleasures,
and therefore avoid earthly ones.
Mahler showed some humour here.
A little skeleton.
And always: [...]
In the background,
you can hear bones smashing,
making funny noises.
A violin being tuned a tone higher.
A so-called Scordatura.
Wow, what a difference!
A kind of ludicrous sound.
The climax of the movement
is something dealing with children.
It is quite funny.
Everyone is playing around in a pillow fight,
and [...]
"Oh oh, Dad's here!", everybody's gone.
"Saint Ursula herself has to laugh!"
Our first Video Sinforial
will be released December 13th.
In fact, on the new internet platform:
Sinforial.de.
There, you can watch the video
and find information on the idea,
the team and the making of.
This project was
a lot of fun for us
