With the Rocky Mountains in plain view, Denver Colorado can't help but be connected to the
outdoors. Avid runners, bikers, campers and fresh air enthusiasts flock to the mile-high
city to experience its limitless activities. In the center of it all, on 17th and Champa
Street in the business district of Downtown Denver is the Kimpton's Hotel Monaco.
Hotel Monaco Denver makes its home in the completely renovated historic 1917 Railway
Exchange Building and the 1937 Art Moderne Title Building. As of March 2012, the lobby
and meeting spaces have been completely renovated. In 2011, the hotel's 189 guestrooms were totally
redesigned and in 2010 the hotel's restaurant, Panzano was completely remodeled.
It's a quirky boutique hotel with a humorous poke at the American west, courtesy of interior
designer Susan Caruso, expressed through modern design yet respectful of its historical footprint.
"Rugged Cowboy Meets City Slicker," is how Susan describes the look and feel of the hotel.
Rooms are comfortable and filled with colorful textures and patterns. Most rooms are spacious,
featuring one king, queen, two double or two queen beds in living spaces around 300-400
square-feet. Gourmet and organic treats are available in the fully stocked honor bar and
high-quality bath amenities come standard in each room. Yoga mats are in the rooms and
TV channels focused on wellness will get you moving.
Need an aqua-accessory? Ask for a goldfish to keep you company. Need even more color?
Grab those fun bath robes.
4,000 square feet are at the ready for your upcoming conference or downtown event and
can accommodate up to 200 guests reception style and 150 guests banquet style.
Just off to the lobby is the Panzano Restaurant taking its cue from contemporary Northern
Italian cuisine with a focus on sustainable, local, seasonal and organic ingredients. On
the menus, you'll see homemade pastas, traditional meats and game, fresh seafood, and salads,
all inspired by a commitment to freshness, integrity, and seasonality of ingredients.
There is a private wine cellar for up to 50 guests or another private room for 24 guest.
Packages and promotions are available year-round but rates typically run from $179 to $789
per night depending on the season and the room type. This pet-friendly Hotel Monaco
Denver is a Green Key Eco-Rated hotel and is the ideal place to unleash your urban and
outdoor adventures. So if you find yourself in Denver, this is the hotel that will get
you firmly planted and connected to all of Colorado's comforts and activities.
