Welcome to SmartXBRL. This is a video on how to add additional tables to your filings.
For the purposes of this video, we will add a parenthetical table.
As you can see in this balance sheet, this label needs to be broken down into a parenthetical table.
We can do this by taking the top of the table,
copying it,
and pasting it at the end.
Add the word "parenthetical" to the end of this title.
Likewise, if you were adding another table, you would have to add an appropriate label, such as "comprehensive".
As you can see, the abstract should be Stockholders' Equity, so we'll copy that
and paste it into our new table, replacing "Assets".
The row label after that should be "Common stock, par value".
And the value is 1/10th of a cent,
which we'll copy and paste into both columns.
We'll take the next label, "shares authorized".
and repeat the process.
Copy this value and copy it to both columns.
And once again, we'll do the same with "Shares issued and outstanding".
For a table to be captured, it must have at least ten rows, so what we'll do is simply delete the data in the last six rows and leave them empty.
These empty rows will allow our system to capture the table, but the empty rows will not show up in the final result.
We are now ready to import the document into SmartXBRL.
After we have saved the Word document and logged into SmartXBRL, we'll now add the modified Word document to our filing.
Just click "Add Document",
and browse for the correct document you edited earlier.
Click "OK".
As you can see, the additional table has been successfully captured by our system.
Thank you for watching this video.
