Hi, this is Leah Schaefer on behalf of Expert Village and today I’m going to show you
how to cook with a Dutch oven. Okay, so we’re going to go ahead and chop up just a few more
pecans just to use as decoration and these we’re just going to cut about in half or
thirds depending on how big they are. Okay, and these bigger pecans are just going to
give it more of a decorative flair; its already got plenty of the small chopped ones on there.
Okay and those look good. I take my glaze, just stir it up so it’s a good consistency
again, and we’ll just drizzle it over by the spoonful. This is not an exact science
so you just kind of drizzle it wherever it goes, okay, okay and I’ve got one more spoonful.
And that looks great, oops, I’ve got a little bit left, don’t want to miss out on any
of this glaze. Again, this is just powdered sugar, vanilla and milk, okay. The last thing
we’re going to do to decorate it is to take a couple of cinnamon sticks, I’ve got about
four here, just place them on top and we’ll take the pecans that we chopped in halves
and place those on top. And we are all done with our pecan cinnamon roll, so see how easy
it is to make a desert in the Dutch oven right in your kitchen. The cinnamon pecan roll looks
ooey and gooey and you know, we used frozen bread dough that we thawed out, it was really,
really simple just put everything in there, very rustic deserts, see how it’s all different
sizes, that’s okay, this is the way you want it, Dutch oven is rustic cooking.
