To salt or not to salt That is the question.
I have a friend who takes his daily shower in water softened water. I take my daily shower
in healthy water. For those of who don't know what healthy water is, it is water void of
contaminates filled with essential minerals. We both have eczema, mine manifest itself
by little red dots near the armpit area. His minifest itself as dry cracks on his hands.
We both coincidently went to Hawaii for different reasons.
While there, his condition got better. My condition flared up and new patches developed.
When I returned home the patches stopped spreading. But the condition didn't get any better.
When he returned home his condition reverted back to normal.
I went to go visit him for about a week and while there my condition dried up and got
better.
So you see there is no one size fits all solution to water filtering.
Having said that, and despite the fact that water softeners are starting to be banned
in certain communities. I still wouldn't recomend one for daily bathing needs.
Even with my condition, it's nothing the occasional salt bath can't help with.
