hi my name is Jonathan Diaz and I'm this year's student government Greek Senator
I'm a fifth-year environmental sustainability health and saftey
management student from hartford connecticut
and I'm a brother Lambda Sigma Upsilon latino fraternity incorporated
some of the things that I like about RIT is
It's diverse student body, their ability ability to bring students from all over the world
together here
In Rochester. I also enjoy the school spirit
especially around hockey season when everyone is pumped to support the RIT
Tigers on the rink
I wanted to become Greek Senator because as a member
of NALFO three years I saw a lot of disparities within our community
and I wanted to bridge the gap between the four existing councils
NALFO, NPHC, CPC, and IVC. I saw a lot of opportunity
for growth within the community as well as establishing a
positive outlook in community as a whole. The office of fraternity and sorority life
is located in the campus center
room a 510, and my office hours within the office
are two to four on Mondays. And Tuesday/Wednesday located
up in the SG office from four to five. this is a very exciting year
to be Greek here at RIT. So go Greeks!
