Trump Just Found Out What Anti-American Eagles Player Has Planned For Super Bowl – BAD
Idea!
Here we go again, folks.
A pro athlete is letting us know that if he’s invited to the White House, that he won’t
go.
Now, this guy didn’t hold a press conference or anything like that.
He’s not one of those attention seekers like Colin Kaepernick or any of the felons
in the NFL.
This guy is actually quite humble, plays hard, donates his game checks to charity, and isn’t
out there getting arrested for smacking women, doing drugs, or any other sort of irresponsible
behavior.
This is the Philadelphia Eagles Chris Long and those still watching football would love
to see him smash Tom Brady’s face on a game-winning sack that leads to a touchdown on a fumble
recovery or pick six.
Long has been a quiet force in Philadelphia this year, but sadly he’s dissing the invite
to visit the White House if his team wins the Super Bowl.
Long denied visiting the White House last year when Trump entered the seat of the President
as the Patriots won the Super Bowl over the Atlanta Falcons.
The hardcore fans in Philadelphia love Chris Long, but they would really love it if he
went with his team to the White House.
Philly is all about the team and working hard.
It’s a blue-collar city who strives on the backs of each other.
They’re gritty, tough, and don’t let things stand in their way.
It’s not shocking that Long would deny the visit to the White House, but it’s simply
just a shame that he would skip that moment to be with his team and celebrate.
Long isn’t the typical disrespectful player.
He’s a rather quiet guy who does his talking on the field.
He has his personal reasons for not wanting to be in the White House, but perhaps that
would be a good time for him to speak his mind and have a conversation with President
Trump.
While the team is celebrating and going on a tour or taking selfies, perhaps Long can
have a quick sit down with Trump to see what page they’re really on.
Independent Journal Review had more about Chris Long:
“NFL star Chris Long has no plans to visit the White House — even if he wins the Super
Bowl.
The Philadelphia Eagles defensive end skipped out on the 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. visit last
year, too, when he was a member of the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl championship
team, the New York Daily News reported.
“No, I’m not going to the White House.
Are you kidding me?”
Long said in a recent interview on Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” podcast:”
Long, who has been supportive of players taking a knee during the national anthem, explained
last year that he had no interest in visiting President Donald Trump because he believes
the commander in chief is on the wrong side of history, and Long doesn’t want to be
associated with him in any way:The Eagles have garnered a lot of attention over the
number of Christians who play on the NFL team.
In October, wide receiver Marcus Johnson was baptized, and in December 2016, tight end
Trey Burton baptized five of his teammates.
Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz said in November that he and some of his fellow athletes “get
together the night before the game and just kind of pray, talk through the [Bible], what
guys have been reading, what they’re struggling with, and kind of just keep it real with each
other.”
The Philadelphia Eagles are a bright spot in a league plagued with crime, disrespectful
players, and obnoxious league policies that fine grown men for doing minor violations
as they’re allowed to smash each other’s head in during the game.
The NFL could see the lowest-rated Super Bowl in years after they refused to show a Veteran
commercial asking people to stand for the flag during the National Anthem.
The NFL is allowing social justice warriors to run their league into the ground and lose
money.
The league needs to be strong like the players and put an end to the disrespect that protrudes
from it like a seething, disgusting pile of slop.
If Chris Long skips another trip to the White House, then it might prompt Trump to respond.
Trump’s response would take away the power of Long’s boycott, which makes Long’s
boycott pointless and simply embarrassing to remaining football fans.
It would be great for the NFL to have the Eagles win the Super Bowl.
It would be great for the league if Chris Long changes his mind and goes with his team
to the White House.
If there’s one way to win back the hearts of fans, it’s to have a wonderful underdog
story and revive the respect for the great American traditions.
America loves football and we want it back, but we will not tolerate the level of disrespect
that comes from any players or teams.
It doesn’t matter if someone likes or dislikes President Trump – they should show respect
for the President of the United States of America.
Chris Long can win the Super Bowl and save the NFL if he goes to the White House.
It’s a team effort and Philadelphia fans would love for him to be with his team every
step of the way.
It would also be a warm welcoming gesture to show that players and the White House are
making amends and bringing respect back into America’s favorite game.
The NFL messed up big time by denying the Veteran commercial.
Hopefully Chris Long makes up for that horrible gaffe by the league.
Chris Long – Don’t be that guy sitting out of the team event because of “muh feelings.”
Your city and teammates will want you there.
Do it for them.
Be the athlete who turns this whole mess around and brings football back to the great American
tradition that it used to be.
Stand for the flag.
Go to the White House.
Show respect.
Be there for your team and fans.
Make football great again.
