D.J. Brasby here for Expert Village, going over the MPC. If you hit track mute, its going
to show you all of your tracks at once; we have named them so you can see we have got
the high hat, snare, we have our pianos, we have the breath sound, some extra high hits
I laid in. And each one of these corresponds to a pad with this first one here in the bottom
left corner being the bottom left most pad; and this upper right being the upper right
most pad; and while the beat is playing you can turn if you hit the pad. It turns them
off and it un-highlights them and that means they are off. So right here we are going to
have no snare or first high when we play it. Take all the high hits out all together put
everything back in. You can also use the solo button F6. You hold that down and we can solo
maybe just the snare and you can release your finger and if you press it again on F6, it
brings everything back. This is good to use for like live shows and stuff you can drop
parts of your beats out and then bring them back. A real common one is to have all your
drums turned off and start your beat and then drop all the drums it wants.
