hello everyone welcome back to Nomad travel adventure video journal my name
is Simon and I will be taking you on your next journey we're actually headed
over to the Palace of Versailles it's in France it's um it's about a 20 minute
train ride from Paris only four euros I'm not sure we're actually going to go
inside of the palace we're definitely gonna check out the gardens which is
when it's known for so let's go see all the beauty that it has to offer
we headed off from Paris by train got some Starbucks and then started walking
towards the Palace of Versailles there were already so many people there in
front of the gates just waiting to get in
entrance was free which gives you access to the gardens but not the inside of the
palace careful about scheduling because there are days that they have these
magical fountains shows and entry is not free this was seriously something out of
a movie with golden gates in front of this massive Palace I was in awe
things like this really existed and it took me through times in history class
we then went on to the entrance of the garden where the illusion of this
fantasy really came to life perfectly structured flower beds with colorful
flowers of every kind surrounded us this was a little slice of heaven with
fountains and flowers everywhere you looked below there was even this
incredibly structured courtyard yeah architecture behind this was so amazing
I seriously couldn't believe it was real somebody pinch me I thought as I was
gazing out into this surrealness it was pretty huge and just when I thought it
was over I saw more this was not just one garden
these were many gardens and looking out you could see royal looking statues with
this massive fountain that looked like it was made out of gold standing in
front of it I couldn't help but feel like I was a part of its history and
then we got lost inside the Gardens fairytales of kings and queens strolling
around started to bombard my head each garden had its name and its own
fountain that made it stand out from the others and there were so many walking
along I imagined a queen burdened by everyday life coming here for a small
time of Solitude a place to just get away some of the gardens were fenced but
we got some sneak peeks from the outside and then at the end is amazing giant
statue surrounded by water this was seriously something for the books
plan for at least half a day because even then you'll still want to stay more
unfortunately my trip had come to an end but I left feeling lighter than air as I
had been enchanted by Versailles and its beautiful gardens hey guys so we just
got done checking out the gardens it was so relaxing probably the best way to end
my trip here in France we're headed back to Paris city centre I have to catch a
plane tonight it's about 4 euros to head back there so if you can totally make it
out here do so I totally recommend it I'm really sad that I didn't get to
