Welcome back.
Erick, have you ever changed the oil in your car?
Yeah, I have. >>How long did it take?
It takes about an hour. >>Well, in this next story, Army Newswatch found a group of guys
who can completely take apart an engine and rebuild it in about an hour.
Specialist Chuck Gill spent some time with the Army NHRA drag racing team.

[male speaker] You have to work together.
There are eight guys who have to make everything perfect.
You have to know what one guy is doing behind you
and in front of you and next to you.
It just makes any situation go smoothly.
And that's our job is to, no matter what happens, fix it the quickest,
the smoothest, most efficient way
so that it can be 100 percent every time.
[male speaker] Teamwork is everything. We take this car apart after every pass.
We're all thrashing, going at it--pure adrenaline.
Everybody's got their own specialty, and we're working together.
It's just critical.
Everybody needs to be knowledgeable
in other areas besides just their specific area
so when trouble comes up over here, they can say, "Okay, what do you need?"
"We can do that." [tool whirring]
Having the right guys
specializing in their areas
so we can give the crew chief the same parts every time
with precision,
and when he looks at the data, he can go ahead and know that he has the same parts
going back in the car to where he can make his adjustments.
And he knows the minute changes that he's making are going to work
because he has the same parts back in the car.

and is currently pursuing number seven.
