(Nigerian Art - only on BattaBox) All these ones are adverts and we cannot start doing adverts on ourselves, because i'm not famous
we love doing famous people - artistes, musicians, politicians, people that would attract customers
at least they'll make our business move and i like thinks like that
Really Nigerians love it, even most people we paint they pass here and wave at us
but they cannot stop due to the way the area is
it depends on how good you are, sometimes two days, sometimes one week
if you want to really give it your best, i believe in one week because that's how my boss taught me
why i painted Osama Bin Ladin is that he's also a famous person, i painted him the day after he died
for people to see what i'm doing with the resemblance and details, that's why i did it
and the day i painted it, i had lots of work
people were complaining about it that why should i draw Osama Bin Ladin that he's a terrorist
they even said i'm among his staff, that i'm working for him so i just told them it's not that at all
really it's Wole Soyinka, i keep painting it forever and ever
the one we did the last time was very big, bigger than this one but we had a brt bus accident here so it got spoilt
so we just love painting the man, he's a great man
it depends on the sizes, we have the ones of N50,000, N55,000, N100,000, N120,000
we would still put them in frames
at least the cheapest one is between N20,000 - N25,000
it's about N40,000
with this job,for one month you might not get anyone to patronize you
or for a week and i'll look like you don't know how to draw or you don't know what you are doing
when customers start coming, they come like water so you'll work till you are tired
All of the paintings here, for real they are nice paintings
i must sincerely appreciate the artist that has done this, i would love to buy the Wole Soyinka painting
because of his antecedent,he's a novelist, he's someone that one would need to associate himself with
because he has really tried for this nation, and he's an activist too
i love people that are activists and i'm inspired to be like one of these people in the future
They are Arts and i like anything that's an art
i'm also kind of an artist, i have the background of an artist so i like everything art
in my house i have about six good works that i collected from one or two places
Yeah
i can see some of the paintings around, the Soyinka paint, Babaunde Raji Fashola(BRF) some are okay some are good
If they can represent my image, i'd see it vividly by myself if it represents me or not
