[Laurie]: So this is the first day of the offical UN conference
and we have the sheer pleasure of meeting
a bunch of students that Penn State students have been talking to.
These are Palestinian students, and we've have video dialogues for the past year
and we're meeting them in person.
It's just amazing to meet people in person that you've been seeing
for a year on video.
So we're just going to introduce you really quickly
just by face...
Look at these lovely faces...
Oh, and there are also people from Penn State here too
that have been in the video dialogues.
This is Mostafa, and he's just going to say
one thing quickly to Penn State students
[Mostafa]: I want to say
to the students who are in Penn State University
We all way to say thank you very much
for all the students. We learn from
them more and more. For example, I talked with Glenden Taylor
in America. What I learned from him
was more and more about his culture.
And I talked with him about our culture.
It's very nice to have intercultural conversation between us,
and now we are at least ready to improve
and to devote ourselves to improve and to make this idea
become fact. Thank you.
[Laurie]: And one more.
This is Abdul Rahem, and he is going to say something also.
[Abdal rahim]: Hi everybody, I'm Abdal rahim I really wish
to meet all of you, and I really wish
to introduce my country to you.
Thank you very much for sharing
and I hope we have a connection between us
and build bridges between our nations.
