So, humans aren't magical creatures. We can't learn through osmosis, but you wish you could.
So, how can you learn English effectively? That depends on you, and how your brain works.
There are five learning styles and everyone has a mix of learning styles. : Visual, Logical,
Aural, Verbal, and Physical. Which one are you? Let's understand what these terms mean.
OK, Visual learners work better with pictures. Logical learners reason and calculate: they
see patterns that others don't. Next, Aural learners prefer using sound or
music. Verbal learners like using words, by speaking
or writing. Finally, Physical learners like using their
body, hands, and sense of touch. Do you know which one you are? You might be
a mix of several. Research proves that there are ways to learn a language quicker using
your learning style. If you learn visually, try using different
colored highlighters and creating word maps. Don't memorize flashcards, it won't work.
Aural people, learn the lyrics of a song and different sounds: like a "loud" engine and
a "quite" engine. Logical people should make key points of the
material they learn, create lists, and connect similarities of content.
Physical learners should focus on sensations and actions. Describe processes like flying
an airplane or use physical objects. Now you know the best way you learn and what
you can do to improve. There are links to other websites that have resources for different
learners. If you have a certain technique for learning, please leave a comment in the
section below.
