My names Will Trump,
I work in the City for a re-insurance company called Swiss Re
I work in the life insurance area of the business and I’ve been working here for about 5 years.
I lived in central London for four years and now we’ve moved out to Essex.
I use the tube maybe 2 times a week on average, I don’t use it that much,
but I use it when I’m going to see clients across London
and I just used to just always pay with Oyster
and I used to top up my oyster maybe every couple of weeks.
So for me it’s just one main benefit, its lack of hassle, I don’t have to worry about it,
I just tap it on and done.
If anything goes wrong and I lose my card I can phone up and cancel it immediately.
You can check how much was deducted for each journey
and you can make a complaint if there’s any problems,
but I’ve never heard of any problems on contactless,
so I’m really not worried about it at all.
I mean for me contactless just makes sense, it’s the natural progression of the technology.
I mean we had contactless for my coffee, for my supermarket shop,
now its extended to the bus network and now its extended to the tube,
it just makes sense, it’s just much more convenient and
I think it’s just the next step for the technology.
