Hi, today I would like to show you my daily routine, which means I will be showing you all the products I use
to create my everyday look. I will be showing you how I get this look, this is my everyday make-up.
This is the look which I go for when I have enough time, but not hours of time. This takes an average amount of time: I can create this look within 10 to 15 minutes.
Sorry for the noise. There's people loading and unloading outside. I've been waiting for 15 minutes but I just decided to start filming.
So this is my average day-time look, for when I'm not in a hurry. I also don't need half an hour in front of the mirror to get this look.
Okay, so I hope you enjoy!
First I start off by applying a base. I am using Givenchy Mister Smooth, but this tube is almost completely empty.
On average, I always use a base. It allows my make-up to stay on significantly longer.
And this is about the amount that I use.
I rub it in between my hands and you apply it the same way you would a primer. I mean, a moisturizer.
After my primer I apply my foundation. Currently this is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Radiance Reveal. I sometimes also use a BB Cream, and in that case I like the Dior
and Vichy ones best and those are the ones I have used often lately. But currently I find myself using foundation more. And at the moment I really like the Bourjois Radience Reveal
a lot. And I use a mix of number 51, the lightest colour, and number 52, one shadedarker.
And I always apply it to my hand first, I take a drop of both shades on my hand. And then I mix those with my finger.
This gives me the perfect colour, which I apply with a buffer brush. This is the Silk Finish brush from Zoeva.
And I apply it from my hand. Sometimes I dip my brush onto my hand, sometimes I dot some foundation on my skin with my fingers. Depending on what I like at that moment.
I always start with my left cheek. There's not really a reason for this. I always start here or here.
There's no reason to this, to be honest.
I take my eyelids as well, even though I will be applying eyeshadow primer lateron. And I also apply foundation under my eyes.
But I will be applying concealer on the under-eye area later.
I'm just checking that I've been everywhere, sometimes I just forget to do a part of my face.
I also always take a little, if there's some foundation left on my brush, down my neck.
But that's not always neccessary.
I never really apply foundation with my fingers anymore. I just don't like doing that anymore.
I really miss it when I don't have a brush with me and I need to apply foundation.
Okay, that's it for foundation. And now it is time for concealer. Recently I have been using the Catrice Camouflage Creme to do so.
A really cheap option, costs something around 3 euros. I have written a review on this concealer. It's great. What I do is, I take my finger and warm up the product.
And when I notice the product melting, I apply it. Which I do by using patting motions under my eyes.
And then I wipe my finger and work it into the skin. It is crucial to use patting motions under your eyes, otherwise it will crease into the fine lines.
And you will wipe the product from your skin. With patting motions, you keep the coverage.
And a little goes a very long way.
That all the concealer I need at the moment. When I have other blemishes, I would apply some more concealer to cover those.
Then, before I apply my powder I do my eyebrows. I do them before, because I am currently using a powder to fill them in.
And if I would be using a liquid product, I would powder first.
But uh, because it's just a powder for now, I am using a matte eyeshadow from the Naked Basics pallette. And that has a better grip when my foundation is still slightly wet.
I tend to vary with brow products. I am also still really liking MakeUpForever Aqua Brow as well.
That's the eyebrows done. Now it is time for powder. I have been using Essence All About Matt for a while now.
A fixing compact powder. I really like this product. And I use a big powder brush from Real Techniques to apply it. And that is the "powder brush".
And then I first go under my eyes. I push my brush like this and powder.
You should always be careful when powdering your under-eye area because if you apply too much, you tend to look older, because you emphasize any small lines you might have.
Okay, on to the eyes then. This part varies from day to day. I always use the same eyeshadow primer. Lately this has always been Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
That is my true favorite. But I also use the Urban Decay Eyeshadow primer. And what I do for eyeshadow changes every day.
It could be purple tomorrow, green today and blue the day after tomorrow. But most often I go for a natural eye with neutral shades.
Browns, because that is easy and I use them a lot so I know exactly what I want to do.
I own the Urban Decay Naked Basics pallette for a week now and I use it a lot. Actually, since I got it, I have been using it daily.
And that is what I will be using now. I am not going to show this step by step, this will be for another video.
But I will quickly show how I apply my eyeshadow base. A tiny amount on both eyelids.
And very often I apply Nars Albatros under my eyebrows and in my inner corner. Because I love the colour of this highlighter.
It's actually a face product but I think I will be able to show you. I don't know if you can see the sheen that it has. No, I don't think so.
But it is a lovely golden highlighter which I apply under my eyebrows, like this.
And in the inner corners of my eye. Sometimes, I also use a highlighter from the pallette but I like this one better.
Because I always get a little fall out, I quickly take my brush over my face.
Then it is time for mascara.
I am using the Essence I Love Extreme mascara.
Like that, in fact, I never apply mascara to my lower lashes.
Then finally, I apply my blush. I do this last in order to match it to the eyeshadows I am wearing.
I kind of like that, but that is not a must, of course.
I often use Nars Deep Thoath, which is one of my all time favorite colours. And I apply it with a blush brush on my cheek bones.
On top of that a little Nars Albatros. Or another highlighter but this really is my favorite at the moment.
Finally, I use a fixing spray all over my face. I am using Urban Decay All Nighter,
which allows my make-u to last longer. I often don't apply lipgloss untill I am going out the door.
Or lipstick, but usually lipgloss or lip balm. I am using, let me look closely, a Mac Dazzleglass in Dressed to Dazzle.
That is it! Now I am ready to go.
Well, that was it. This is how I get my everyday make-up look. My daily make-up routine.

Okay, that's the eyebrows done. Now it's time to powder my make-up. Auwch! I hit my elbow.
