Well all the employers
gather in the same place
at the same time.
You get to have insight
into what they actually do,
what the company does and
see if you’re interested in their work
and if you’re interested,
apply to those companies.
Gives you a good idea of where to start as a student
a lot of times you don’t have much idea of
where you want to go
as a career.
It's just a really good
Fair to get an idea of
what sort of opportunities there
are out there for you.
I was interested in…
the work they did,
the recruitment process and
basically
what the company culture is like and things like that.
What would be involved in the vacation work,
What your job
as a student going into that company
would be and
how structured their program is.
Well I knew who I wanted to see and who was coming,
I wrote down a few questions and went straight to them
and asked them. It was very helpful.
Just about the different questions that I wanted to ask
the employers.
For example:
If I do actually come on board
and get the job, I wanted to
know what sort of things I would be doing when I get the job.
What the workplace would be like
and how the graduate program would be like,
and the hiring process to be able to get the job.
Yeah I would highly recommend it
to other students to come.
I just think that if you’re looking for
information about where your degree can take you,
it’s nice to come down and talk to a few different business
and talk about what your options are.
