Presentation 1: Two-color soup
You need two cream of vegetable soups of contrasting colors – for example, a cream of carrot and a cream of broccoli or green asparagus. Pour each soup into a small bowl or container with a pouring spout.
The trick is to gently pour both soups at the same time in order to create two well-defined sections. It’s simple, but guaranteed to look striking!
Presentation 2: Soup with a spider web design
If you want to decorate your soup with a spider web design, simply use a drizzle of cream. Depending on the texture of the soup, it’s best to lightly whip the cream to give it a bit of body so that it doesn’t drop to the bottom.
Pour the soup into a soup bowl.
Then pour in the cream, drawing a thin spiral.
Start in the middle and make increasingly large circles. If your hand is shaky or you make a few mistakes, don’t worry.
Draw a toothpick or the tip of a knife through the cream, working from the center towards the edge, to create the spider web effect. Personalize your soups according to your whim – or the occasion!
