Vsauce, everyone has little weird in them...these
are my weirdos of the month.
While going 70 in a 45 MPH zone and starting
a police chase, Jennifer Herring called 911
to inform them that there was no emergency,
and she'd pull over for 300,00 thousand dollars.
The chase lasted 15 minutes and the 911 call
was nearly 10. It ended when she pulled into
a private driveway at a dead end, where she
was tackled after refusing to get on the ground.
She faces multiple charges including driving
while impaired, felony fleeing, driving with
a revoked license, and reckless driving.
Gerald Desiderio was arrested after sending
his ex-wife alimony checks smeared with uhh...feces.
He was charged with sending hazardous materials
through the US mail, obstructing the mail,
and stalking. The woman's mail had to be put
into quarantine and checked by inspectors
trained in handling hazardous materials.
Keith Hinds stole a Chinese food delivery
car that was left running in a parking lot...then
finished making the deliveries. When the driver
reported the theft to his boss they called
the remaining customers on the delivery route
to inform them that their food wouldn't be arriving,
but, oddly enough, some of it had. Using the
rest of the delivery route as an easy way
for the police to catch Hinds, he was arrested
and charged with larceny and a slew of drug
charges.
Brent Musser took 2 years to create a motorized
12 ft long 9 ft tall shopping cart for the
promotion of a local grocery store. It is
used for special events including various
promotions and fundraisers, and can even be
rented out for $800 bucks a day. The huge
cart is roughly the size of 12 regular shopping
carts.
Daniel Baily ran out of gas around 4 a.m.
and knocked on the door of a nearby house.
When no one answered he just went inside. The residents awoke to him sitting
on the stairs petting their cat. He had also
turned on the Christmas lights, lit some candles,
turned on the TV, ate some coffee cake, and
played darts. In his car the cops found 2
cans of beer, a can of soda, 2 frozen dinners,
3 frozen pizzas, hot pockets, and mozzarella
sticks- all of which had been stolen from
the residence. He was charged with burglary,
vandalism, theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
