So once you decided to collect majolica and you're thinking about where do I begin to
start to collect this type of porcelain I would definitely recommend that you go to
your local antiques shops and the dealers that you know that are reputable. That they
may have small pieces here and there or they have collections of this or they might be
able to recommend to you where is the best place to start with to look for these pieces
out in shops in your area. The other opportunity might be to go to some of your local shows
in your area we have here Rimfield which is a very big market which you can find almost
every kind of collectible that you want. So you can find some place similar to like something
like Rimfield or a show that's a great place to start too. The other places to look would
be in the internet and eBay is another good source to look for, these very highly sawed
off pieces. So those are a few places to start to look for your majolica, the only other
place that I can think is auctions to. There are specific auctions that just auction off
majolica you can usually find those decorative art auctions on the internet. Or your local
auction might carry a few odd pieces that you can start from.
