And this is Mission Control Houston. The hatch to the Soyuz vehicle about to be reopened,
and the six crew members will be together to initiate our welcoming ceremony.
A three-man crew launched up to the International Space Station has successfully arrived.
The crew members can be seen shaking hands and hugging as they enter the station.
First in, the Soyuz Commander Alexander Skvortsov.
The two astronauts and one cosmonaut blasted off aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket two days
ago from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
Oleg Artemyev is Board Engineer.
The trio were due to arrive at the station six hours later, but had difficulties firing
up the capsule's engines, which forced the delay in the docking.
Wakata, Rick Mastracchio and Mikhail Tyurin. All six crew members now together on board
the International Space Station.
The arrival of the latest team now means the International Space Station has a full six-member crew.
