If you wear clothes, like sharing and heart the internet, you’re likely to love WIWT.
WIWT, or What I Wore Today is an iPhone app to accompany the WIWT website, where you can
go and upload your daily outfit, browse others sartorial choices and get links to buy your
favourite pieces. And by pieces, I mean that must-have Primark top, rather than Chanel’s
latest creation. It’s for normal people, see? The app itself allows you to both browse
and create. You open on the editor’s picks, and you can then browse your friend’s outfits
or the latest uploads. Pick one, and you have the chance to star it as a favourite, share
it to Twitter or Facebook, and have a peak at where the stuff is from, and the accompanying
blurb. In the You tab, you can see your own stats, as well as view the outfits you’ve
already uploaded, and then the fun bit comes from the Add Outfit tab. Take a photo of your
stylish attire (and self-taken portraits in the mirror are the norm, so don’t worry)
and then tag where everything’s from. Then add some details, such as your mood, where
you are and why you’ve made such a bold colour statement, and set upload - it’ll
appear on the site momentarily. Whilst not everyone is going to feel the need to share
their fashion choices, if you’re the kind of person who ever wimped out of asking where
a stranger got those amazing shoes, you’ll appreciate this app and all that goes with
it. Free from iTunes now.
