Too many notifications bugging you? Here's a quick way to turn them off.
Your notification tray at the top of your screen is great at giving you quick visual
indicators as to what's happening on your Samsung Galaxy S4. But with more applications
comes more notifications and you can very quickly get to the point where there are too
many to fit on the screen.
So here's a very quick way to turn notifications off directly from the notification panel.
Here's a list of notifications on my screen from different applications and if I long
press on one of these, an option will appear called 'app info'. If I press on it I will
be whisked to the application info screen where there is an option to turn off notifications
from that particular application.
When I uncheck the box a warning message will appear and if I press OK here you'll notice
that two notifications have disappeared from the top of my screen.
Obviously, to start receiving notifications from the application again you will need to
re-tick the notification box on the app info screen and it won't bring back any notifications
that were there previously.
Anyway, it's a good quick way to manage the notifications you want or don't want to receive.
