I am a courtesy clerk.
I do bagging, I do
carry outs and
I do sweeps.
I have been there for three years
and I like
a lot of my co-workers,
they're very understanding
and they help me whenever I need it.
Definitely to be independent as she possibly can,
her dad and I worked really hard to
make sure that -- and that's not an easy thing for parents to do because you
want to do for them.
And she's been in a couple social skills groups that have helped.
But basically
we want her to be as independent as she possibly can because we're not going to
be around forever.
She has continued
to improve her
cooking skills and her --
I mean she walks to work which is amazing, never -- you know five years ago we never thought
that she would be walking a mile to work on own. She's not ever going to drive.
And so it's really great that she gets up every morning, she doesn't need our help.
I mean she really functions pretty independently.
We're getting there, we're getting there.
Financial -- a little trouble handling money,
that's going to be a challenge forever.
