Alright everybody. This is another classic. It's called topsy turvy cups. The idea is
you setup the cups like this. The 2 on the outside are mouth up, the one in the center
is mouth down. You tell them that in 3 moves they have to move 2 cups each. They have to
end up with all 3 cups bottoms facing up. So you do it front of them because you're
hoping they're going to pay attention. You turn these 2, then you turn the outer 2, then
you turn these 2 again, and you end up with all 3 cups bottoms up. Now, you turn this
one up like this and you have them do it. The problem is when they do it all 3 cups
end up mouth up. The reason is that when you set the cups up they were like this with the
outer 2 facing up. You did the moves and they all ended up facing down, but then you turned
this cup. You set them the opposite way to the way you had them. When they do the moves
all the cups end up mouth up and you win the bet.
