In the defense clip, I told that there were three forms of defense. The wall, dodging,
and countering. I lied to you. There is a fourth form of defense, and that's called
beating your opponent so hard that he wants to cry and crawl under a rock to avoid you.
The best defense is a good offense, and to have a good offense, you need to use strategy.
A common mistake new players make is just lump all their troops together, and hope for
the best. But that's not what you should do. You should break your attack into several
waves so you actually send nine or ten different attacks at your opponent, each with a specialized
purpose. The first purpose is called the clearing wave. You want to hit your opponent really,
really hard and massacre any troops that are in his village, so this is where you put all
of your offensive units. Your swordsmen, you axe men, your things with a really high attack
value. Then, your second and subsequent wave are called catapult waves. It's when you actually
grind his village into the dust. A catapult is the only unit in the game that's capable
of damaging the village, and they're very expensive. You don't want to lose any. So,
first, the clearing wave hits, and to destroys any offenders, and then the remaining waves
hit, and obliterate the village.
