So now we're going to talk about straightening the guitar neck. The best way to do that--let's
see if it even needs that. So hold it up, and get a real view right down the neck. See
if you can see any visible bending. And I know from the guitar, from playing it earlier,
that really the neck is very straight. Remarkably straight for a guitar of this age. I'm guessing
that the previous owner adjusted the truss bar. But in case your guitar is bent up, and
you can find a warp in it, I'm going to show you how to straighten that out. Now the way
you do that is you need to find the correct tool--oops, in our kit. I made a mess. So
I think this one would be the correct tool, and I'm right. We put it into our screwdriver
here. Now you want to go counterclockwise to tighten the neck, so we would turn it counterclockwise.
And I'm not going to do it too much on mine, because I don't want to ruin the already straight
neck, but if we were going to straighten the neck, we would turn this counterclockwise.
