We're at Kristinehojdsgatan 17 in Johanneberg right now.
And it's me and Walle who work here.
I started tattooing because it was something I've always been passionate about.
And I have always liked art, design and such.
So it's really the best option to get to do that onto someone else.
You can't really say it like that though...
But it's really great to apply to it someone, where it is permanent.
Yes, you kinda leave a mark... For quite a while.
We put together a sketch, the two of us, me and Walle. The snake that we then applied to Igge's head.
I was the one who tattooed it, and Walle did most of the original sketch.
We had an idea, which we drew up and carefully placed on his head
and then fine tuned to fit perfectly to his head and then Fredrik applied it in the final stage.
Tattooing has been more and more accepted, and todays customer has gained a lot more options to choose the perfect tattoo artist for their needs.
That allows us (as artists) to pick our specialities which was harder to do 10-15 years ago
where you had to do much of the same work, and everyone had to do it.
But today a customer can, for instance go to Walle and get a sweet new school tattoo
whilst I do more old school for instance.
You get more and more specialized in the sub-genre you love.
It's a nice feeling to know that there are people out there who appreciate what you do so much that they are willing to carry it
on them for the rest of their lives.
The person who comes in here and chooses to get tattooed by either me or Fredrik is going to carry that tattoo for the rest of his or her life.
And hopefully carry it with them with pride.
The head tattoo is definitely not for anyone. It's really the last thing you do on your body.
Start with your arms and legs, and don't get any ideas that you're starting with your head.
It's one of the last parts you get during your art process.
The most important thing is that the customer can come to the right studio that can cater their specific needs.
And that the studio can be confident in the work about to be done.
That's important.
One of the most important feelings we aim for here, is that the customer feels right at home.
We welcome everyone and try our best to spread that feeling.
But there's a lack of Slayer being played here...
Yeah...
F*ck Slayer.
