Having children, Shaun and Megan, has changed my point of view almost 100%. Having a family
is the most important thing to me of all time.
Oh yeah, I can completely relate to what my dad felt when he had me. I just had my son
Charlie 9 months ago and it's changed my inspiration for why I really want to do what I do.
We would always take the kids with us whenever we would go filming.
I've been a cheap extra, my entire life up until high school when I officially started
working. I guess that's where I started.
There goes my brother Billy.
Working with your family members is really, really cool. It's such a delight.
It was exciting because I was able to learn about story, about these characters, about
appreciating wildlife and I was able to do a lot of fun stuff.
And Shaun came to us and he said: "You know, I'm thinking that maybe I want to take up
film" and of course inside I'm just going; "Alright, this is going to be fantastic."
Having your family there turns it into more joy and it makes the hard times become easy.
That 20 years that Shaun and Megan were living with us were the most valuable of my life
and I would not trade that for anything.
