The world was unformed, shrouded by fog. A land of grey crags, archtrees, and everlasting
dragons.
In a world where there was only existence and non-existence,
No life, no death, no light, and no dark, All was a gray haze.
In a world where there are no differences, No conflicts, and no wars,
In such a place, perhaps An everlasting peace could exist?
(Show Skull in Ash Lake)
When the world came into existence, everlasting dragons roamed the land. With stone scales,
they stood tall as titans, ruling over the earth with none to challenge their reign.
The world they ruled over, a barren gray land, void of emotion, void of bustling life, and
void of rotting death.
Giant archtrees towered into the skies above, forming areas of their own. Their roots sunk
deep into the very core of the earth. Vast and endless they spread as far as the eye
could see.
But then, there was fire. Then from the Dark they came
And found the souls within the flame.
With the Strength of Lords, they challenged the Dragons.
Gwyn's mighty bolts peeled apart heir stone scales.
The witches weaved great firestorms. Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease.
And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own, and the dragons were no more.
The world transformed with a new era, brought forth by the flames. Light and Dark both swept
through the lands, with life erupting through the lands and death emanating below. Yet,
there still remained an area, hidden away, unchanged through the passage of time. A shell
of its former self, a memory of what once was.
The lake filled with the charred remains of dragons and fallen archtrees. Remnants of
the war long past. Here remains one final everlasting dragon, inducting the strongest
into a new realm of existence -- one beyond death and human comprehension.
Few knew of its existence, but one weary traveler ventured down, searching to utilize the knowledge
of the Dragons to fight Seath, the betrayer. Here Havel the Rock found his Dragon Tooth,
and possibly developed his magic barrier, tools to fight off his sworn enemy Seath.
And now, all that remains is a sad empty shell of a once great land, torn apart by war, its
inhabitants destroyed and crushed. A barren wasteland, with the waters lapping over all
that once existed, slowly washing away to time.
