hello, I'm Autumn Wenger with Mary Sherwood Lake Living.
Today I'd like to show you how to use cabinet organization tools and some common sense to
make your kitchen the most functional space for you, whether you're a gourmet chef or
have the philosophy like me of "You'll eat it and you'll like it!"
When preparing your meal obviously your first step is to get your food out. So here's a
nice organized pantry that's easy to access with roll out trays.
So you can get to the items that are in the far back areas, and even down low without
having to crouch down too far.
Here you can store your mixing bowls, casserole dishes, just about anything.
Here's a unique solution to blind corners. Sometimes they're just unavoidable, we try
to do lazy susans as much as possible, but this is a great solution to that issue. This
is LeMans Corner Unit that swivels out nice and smooth so you can utilize what normally
would be very difficult to use space in the back corner.
Everyone has things that are out on their counter that you don't necessarily want to
look at, so appliance garages are a fabulous solution for that. You can hide the taster,
your can opener, things like that that aren't necessarily pleasing to look at.
Another issue to consider is the accessibility of your commonly used jars and spices that
you'll use when preparing your meal. This roll out spice tray is a wonderful solution
because it is accessible on both sides so whether you're preparing to the left or cooking
on the right you can have easy access.
Your cooking utensils also deserve an organized space to reside in. Here we have a divided
drawer so that all your like utensils are together and organized, and it's easily accessible
to your work surfaces.
Now it's time to think about after your meal. The leftovers - what are you going to do with
it! A lot of times people don't think about this element. Here we have located the storage
containers conveniently between your cooking area and your refrigerator, so that you can
easily transport from your pots to storage containers and then just a quick turn and
into the refrigerator.
Another great storage location that often gets unused would be area for a sink tilt
down. Here you can store your sink drain stopper, sponges, and other unattractive things you
wouldn't want cluttering your counter top.
These organization tools work wonders in the kitchen, but just imagine how helpful they
could be in other areas of the home! Like the bathroom, linen closet, laundry room,
or utility room.
It's all about making your life easier.
I'm Autumn Wenger with Mary Sherwood Lake Living, working with you to create your lifestyle.
