Hi, I'm Robin, and we're making a skull and cross bones candle holder with etched glass.
This way to put your stencil on the vinyl, is to just cut out a piece of the vinyl, and
run it through your printer. And it's going to depend on the type of printer that you
have. Mine took a couple of times to do it. It might get clogged up in there, it just
depends on the printer that you have. But what I did was, I ran this little piece through
the printer. And the ink doesn't dry very well, so I immediately put a bigger piece
over the top of it, so that the ink wouldn't smear. And then you take off the back of both
pieces, this is what it looks like, and you're just going to put it on your candle holder,
or whatever glass object that you're going to use. Make sure that there's no bubbles,
and that it is flat and even. And this is kind of curved so it's going to make it a
little bit difficult. If it has curves like this, bubbles, just work them out with your
fingernail, or with the popsicle stick that we used earlier, and just work with it until
it's on smoothly. If you have to lift it up and work with it some more, that works out
good. And we're just working that on.
