Hi, today I'm going to talk about how to determine an effective diet plan. It's important because
without knowing it, your weight loss goal will be very far apart from you
So let me start with the first one which is consistency. Consistency is the main key that
makes a diet plan effective. You have to understand that diet plan is a long term commitment.
It takes discipline to maintain the right diet.
Have you ever started a diet plan and after few days you tell yourself "I'm not getting
any thinner. This diet plan must be not effective for me" . and you start again, with another
new diet and you repeat the same thing again and again. Sound familiar? Well, this is what
I called inconsistency in your diet plan. Diet plan suppose to be done in a long term,
a life time thing if you want to put it in a correct way. So when you start a diet plan,
you have to be consistent and be discipline. And you have to give yourself some time for
the diet to work. It might awhile before you can see an actual result of your diet plan.
It is impossible to judge the effectiveness of a diet plan in a day. I mean, get real,
you don't eat a day and gain fat. So why do you expects yourself to lose weight after
only a day of proper diet? It's impossible! So when you start a diet plan, you need to
be consistently stick to the plan for a period of time.
2nd thing that makes an effective diet plan is know what is your goal and what are you
putting into your mouth. This can be said that the most basic thing you need to know
before starting a diet plan. You must know at least how much calories you
need to consume in a day in order to lose fat and what type of food you need to eat
in order to maintain your lean muscle mass. You must always remember that lean muscle
mass plays an important role in fat burning process. The more lean muscle mass you have,
the more effective your body burn those fats away. It is important thing to know because
if you don't know what are you doing in your diet plan and before you know it, you
might be gaining weight instead. 3rd and last will be measuring the result
of your diet. By doing this, you will only know that whether your diet plan is effective
or not. You need to always measure and adjust your diet accordingly in order to keep your
goal in check and be sure of your diet plan is actually effective. What you can do is,
take a photo of yourself before a diet plan and another photo of yourself after 3 months
of following the plan. And then compare and see whether you've gain muscles while lose
fat or you lose muscle while maintaining your fats. You have to know that for both cases,
they result in weight loss. So those are the things that make a diet plan
