GOLDMAN: The Adult Bachelor's program is really designed
with adults in mind to create a community of adult students
who are, you know, seeking to complete
their bachelor's degree.
I took a long hiatus after high school
just as a personal choice, but found that that was both
professionally and intellectually limiting.
What I thought made it really excellent was the community
of students who were very supportive and the faculty,
who are not only experts in their own fields
but also have an interdisciplinaries perspective.
I walked away from that program a much better writer,
a much more critical thinker because of the faculty
and the way they, you know, really encouraged that type
of academic inquiry.
Completing my degree at Lesley really opened doors for me.
I think it gave me a perspective that I wouldn't
have had otherwise.
I've since entered an interfaith ministry program,
and have been really thinking about graduate schools
and exploring that option as well.
I walked away from the program a much different person
than when I began.
You know, I understand myself and the world
much differently now.
