Don't miss rehearsals. The creative part of our work is not the performance, that's the
harvest, the fruit of our action. The creative work of the actor is in the rehearsal.
This play could be the last play that Judith is a part of. And she will be the first person
to say that. She's constantly talking about, "Oh you want to do our next play six months
from now - I don't know that I'm going to be around six months from now."
She's like a lion. She doesn't want to stop. What's worth remembering are the sparks that
light up one's life. The beginning of the Living Theater, the resistance, spending time
locked up...
She smoked pot in the White House. It's a stupid thing to do.
Judith really does live her pacifism and anarchism.
I know how bad people can be to one another and that makes me all the more anxious not
to be one of the violent ones, but to stand firmly, as a human being, as an artist, as
a person, as a lover, on the side of changing the violence into creative energy.
I wanted to start the beautiful non-violent anarchist revolution, I wanted to open the
doors of all the jails, I wanted to write the great divine poetry, I wanted to make
music as beautiful as Mozart, I wanted to dance like the great ballerinas, I wanted
to do everything... Maybe that's why I am living so long, is that I can still do that.
