Well I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to
be doing next year.
So I figured a job might be a good idea, or a least an
internship.
And I kind of wanted to see what the options were out
there and to see if I could have anything that I could
fall back on, which, turns out, there's a lot of people
who are recruiting here, which is really nice.
Well I currently work in [INAUDIBLE]
Career Services.
And we had been advertising this fair a lot.
So I've been hearing a lot about it.
And I've been hearing everyone's going to be here.
And I've been hearing all the great things you can do and
what a great experience it is in talking to employers,
making connections, networking, attempt to
potentially get an interview here, and just the practice
aspect of it because I know I'm a sophomore.
And a lot of employers are looking
for juniors and seniors.
But I still want to be able to say, I have that experience, I
know what the job fair's like, and really looking for
internships in general.
My career after football is something that's always been
important to me.
So when I hear about this career, I came actually a year
ago as well from [INAUDIBLE], a person that's
been a great personal--
helped me with this whole process.
And she introduced me to it last year.
So after coming last year, I've got to speak with many
great people.
And I thought I'd come down again this year and kind of
see what kind of opportunities that present themselves.
And that's kind of reason why I came down.
I found a way to make time.
It's just something that's important to me.
So it's something that I was interested in.
And it's what I did.
I came to the fair because I thought of it as an
opportunity to meet people, and not only that, but meet
employers and get to know them face to face because I think
people interaction is a big part of hiring process.
And I think it's important to meet people face to face.
So give them your resume, meet them face to face, establish a
rapport, that sort of thing.
