Something new and really cool, the ATN Odin.
I'm here with Steve from ATN.
Newest thermal sight this year, walk me through what you guys did. Well, what we
did was we took up
standard PBS housing, took all the guts out,
put into thermal core,
made a new housing
on top for the control module,
and made tactical thermal monocular. Multi-purpose. You can use most
of the same accessories from a PBS 14, be it
the head mount, the
helmet mount, weapon mount. You can use it on 223 with a reticle engaged, use a hand-held
monocular,
spotting, scouting,
use it on a head gear, a helmet mount,
to walk around an environment.
I want to mention that, all
our thermal is made in our facilities in the US,
in California, a 100% made in the US. Nice.
I think this is going to be a great product for
2013 for ATN.
It's small, compact, has that
great form factor,
just can't say good enough
things about it. It's just all the features you have in the Thor are
actually built into the Odin.
So all the controls, all
the
color modes, palettes, all those things are
in the Odin. I'm just going to put my hand behind this so you guys can see
how small and compact this sight actually is.
It's tiny,
weighs virtually nothing,
on a head, you know, handheld mount because they're on a weapons mount. Alright, Steve, I've got to know,
when are we going to be able to get our hands on it, and how much is it going to cost?
Well, we will have a full production run
and it will hit the market probably by the end of March and
MSRP is going to be depending on a configuration around a
$600-$800.
That's amazing, Steve, I'm constantly impressed by you guys. Thank
you, again. My pleasure, Trevor, as always.
