It's domdomegg, and I'm here to show you my slime farm. I might make a tutorial on it,
but that will be in creative probably. Keep posted on that by subscribing to my channel,
or follow me on twitter. I'm here with CrytoHD here. This is him. I've just repaired my - oh.
I've just repaired my pick just before and then my screen recording program just died.
Yeah, bam. Dead. Why are there iron chestplates in here? Anyways, I'm going to craft some
iron blocks and them I'm going to show you my slime farm design. It's based on what I
saw from xisumavoid's design, but I've made it for 2 chunks. I'm going to - there we go.
I don't like having individual ingots. It's quite near my base so we won't have to walk
far. Lets chuck those in there. Also, probably tomorrow or soon-ish, I'll be going with CrytoHD
and we might do some kind of zombie xp farm together. We're not going to do some drop
farm because that would be kind of pointless - like yeah we've got 5 stacks of rotten flesh,
brilliant. Ok, so I'm going to go down here. Each floor is the same, it's 4 blocks tall
- 4 blocks. And it goes as low down as you can have it because this is the lowest layer
before you get to bedrock. There, as you can see bedrock so I couldn't go down further.
Why's he left, oh no he's joined. We have loads of cacti. This one's supposed to be
fully grown, not sure about that. These 2 chunks are slime chunks and as you can see
they're trying to kill me. And if you just don't make them follow you by keeping out
the way. Oh they've all followed me. Annoying. If they spot you they run towards you. Normally
they would just jump straight into the cacti because that is the way there pathfinding
works, as they don't actually check for danger, they just go straight to it. Here look, if
I stand here they will jump right into the water, and they will be trapped and die on
the cacti. As you can see these hoppers have already done it all. And then they all go
towards here, and bam, we have a cactus. And now this one's already grown so I don't even
know what to do with this one. Chuck it at another cactus. Hopefully it won't go it.
This is very efficient and not many drops get killed by the cacti. See look, even that
when we thought it went into the cactus. Right up there, it might of been destroyed. No it
wasn't there. But it picks up almost all of the drops. You could see in the last episode
I filled my thing - over 2 rows of chest space. I was walking around checking the block light
and I've found this is my design, I like it, it looks quite cool. Semi-efficient, not really
efficient, still took me ages to get the pumpkins. The jack-o-lanterns are good because slimes
can spawn on them, as the can't spawn on glowstone or torches which they can't spawn on. And
that would decrease the spawning area, therefore less slimes spawning, therefore less dying,
therefore less drops. So this is all very good. Yep, 2 chunks. Somethings happened to
that cactus, so I should probably change that. That's annoying. So, hope you enjoyed this
video. It's not a tutorial as such it's just a general show off of my cactus farm because
I seem to have a huge amount of slime balls. I want to prove I'm not cheating, I just have
an incredibly efficient slime farm. It took ages to mine this all out. I'd like to thank
a guy called OldeBrad - spelt like that, and also Bowmaster365 for their amazing support
digging this, they really helped me. Without them this would take years, and years. Still
took ages, but I think it was worth it for the amount of slimeballs I got. As you can
see I've got all of those. Yeah. So, hoped you enjoyed this episode, not that much in
it really, hopefully we should get on to more interesting stuff soon, especially the zombie
xp farm because I want to try to build that.
