>> JENNIFER: This is helping indiviuals, um...spend their money according to the rules and regulations
that have been laid out by, um, the agencies that are rewarding them the money - such as:
DDA or the state of Maryland. We help them spend it according to those guidelines.
>> MEG: They're great advocates for my clients. They take what they do very seriously. I've
really never had a problem that I haven't been able to resolve with them. And they're
also a good source of information, even for me. Sometimes when I can't get somebody at
DDA, Jennifer usually has the answer to the question.
>> JENNIFER: We have been providing Fiscal Management Services for approximently 15 years
and that goes beyond New Directions. There's several other waivers and several other programs
that we provide Fiscal Management Services through. So we have experience in several different areas.
My favorite part is when we get the success stories,
the people that have been in and out of different programs, different waivers,
and they just have not had anything that's worked for them. They haven't been happy with
their services, and then they come into New Directions and it's everything they ever wanted.
They're happy, they're excited, they're getting the services that they've wanted, and they're
just so happy and grateful and just, um...you know, wonderful to work with and you can see
how the program has changed the lives of their loved ones that are being, um, served by the
program
