Santa will soon be on his way. But, one of his Elves has sent out an SOS…
“Save Our Sleigh”.
You see, Santa’s belly is taking up so much room,
there’s hardly any place for his bag of gifts.
I have a feeling it could be because of all those
chocolate chip cookies.
Hmmm… maybe this year, it would be a good idea to leave out
Oatmeal and Cranberry cookies instead.
The recipe is simple. To get started, you’ll need:
If you're not allowed to use an oven
– or aren’t sure how to use an oven…
ask an adult to help.
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
In a mixing bowl, cream the margarine and brown sugar. Add the egg.
Next, add the dry ingredients and mix well.
Now add the milk, the rolled oats and the walnuts.
Spoon onto a greased baking sheet. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
And there you have it! Oatmeal and Cranberry S.O.S. Christmas cookies.
