I'm Lee.
I live in Feltham...
..with my brother and sister, and I've got a dog too.
Mum and Dad, I live with them. I go to college...
...to West Thames and I enjoy myself.
I mean Scope is a very good service.
We do different activities like bowling, cinema...
...we go for walks, and sometimes on buses.
We got a diagnosis when Leila was two of cerebral palsy.
We were absolutely bowled over.
The man who came, Ian, was superb...
...and generous with information.
He was bursting with information!
Which is just such a pleasure, and that's just what we needed.
I was in a very, very lonely, dark place.
I think if I hadn't attended the Scope meetings I would probably still be there.
I've been at Scope for ten years.
I love working with young ladies in the shop (!)
It's really good and you meet different people and customers.
I tend to do the CDs and DVDs because that's got to be perfect.
GIRL: This is just a small example of how life is for me.
Although I do some things differently to you...
...it doesn't mean I'm any less normal than you are.
I am extremely proud that I am part of a community that can gather together and say "Enough."
"We don't want any more of this."
"And we are worth more than this."
