Hey H2O Fans! My name is Anna and I will show you how you can look like Cleo!
I will not only show you the makeup but also how to copy her hairstyle.
I chose this styling because it's quick and easy, which makes it perfect for school!
And if you're a Mako fan too, just click here to open a new window with Nixie's styling - both makeup and hair!
Now let's get back to Cleo! Stay tuned if you're curious about her style!
I start out with the eyes. I have already applied foundation and powder to conceal skin blemishes.
If you don't need this you can just skip this step. Otherwise write a comment and I might shoot another clip on how to do this.
Back to Cleo again. Use the following trick if you want brighter eyes.
Here's a simplified color circle. To make your eyes brighter you want to use the complementary color to your eye color.
That's the one opposite to your eye color on the color circle.
For example: for blue eyes it's orange. Here you can use colors with a high amount of orange.
For green eyes it's red. So you could use reddish colors like rose, pink or purple.
For brown eyes you want to take a closer look at your shade of brown. Hazel eyes look great with greenish or bluish eyeshadow.
And girls with dark brown or nearly black eyes can pretty much wear any color they like.
Overall, girls with dark eyes have a wider selection of color options. But that's only true if you stick to the color circle.
Because in general you should just wear the color you like and feel great with!
Cleo has green-brown eyes. To highlight the brown she can use greenish colors.
Or she could use reddish brown colors to focus on the green in her eyes. Just like in this photo. And now we'll do the same!
First, I take an eyeshadow brush and dapple a matte beige eyeshadow onto the mobile lid.
The beige should be a little bit brighter than your skin. This way you look fresher and more awake!
The spare eyeshadow on the brush goes right under the highest part of your eyebrow. This opens the eye even more.
Now you take a round and fluffy brush and a brown that's slightly darker than your skin tone.
If you open your eyes an look straight forward you see an area above your upper lid. You can feel it too. It's the eyebrow bone!
This is exactly where you apply the brown eyeshadow.
Next, carefully move the brush around the edges of the color. This is called blending.
If you want to learn more about blending just click on the photo to watch me explain it in another video.
On the photo you see that Cleo has edged her eyes with a brown color. You can use a brown kajal or, like I did, an eyeshadow.
To make it easier and thinner I use a slanted brush and a reddish dark brown eyeshadow.
And I dapple this brown as close as possible to the lash line.
And I stop after the last eyelash.
I dapple the spare color left on the brush onto the lower lash line. And I stop where my pupil is when looking straight forward.
Now it's looking a bit edged. I use another round fluffy brush which is smaller than the one before.
And I move it carefully around the edges of the brown eyeshadow.
I'm blending the brown line. This makes everyting look somewhat softer. I do the same on the lower lash line.
For bigger and brighter looking eyes apply a beige kajal to the lower water line.
At the end you use your favorite mascara for your eyelashes. Now your eyes are made-up just like Cleos!
And now for the rest! Cleo wears a peach-colored matte rouge. Take a rouge brush and apply it onto the apples of your cheeks.
It's very easy to locate the apples. Just smile. The apples of your cheeks are where your cheeks get more round.
This is where you carefully apply the rouge and spread it along the cheekbone.
Try to draw a lying 8 if that's easier for you. But most importantly: always use only a little bit of rouge.
If you have nevertheless applied to much rouge, this is how you fix it.
Take your powder brush and some powder and move the brush along the edges of the rouge.
This way the color appears less intense.
Let's continue with the lips. Cleo wears a peach-colored lipstick. Certainly so her lips match her cheeks.
I apply a color like that too. The reason why I use a brush is that my lipstick is nearly empty.
Cleo's hairstyle looks sporty and casual and is really easy to copy.
All you need is a brush and a hair tie.
For more volume, brush your hair overhead and make a high ponytail.
If some streaks lie flatter on your head than others, just pull them gently to loosen them a bit.
Finally, tighten the hair tie a bit more and you're done!
As you can see this hairstyle is super easy to do!
