hello in this tutorial I show you how to make a letter with gel, is very original and easy to do
Material
this plastic to save paper, with 1 side opened and 3 sides sealed
1 sheet of paper it can be cardstock, gel which you can find it in supermarkets
markers, glue, stickers, glitter and whatever you want, I found sequins
scissors, ruler, contact paper, iron and a washcloth
take the plastic and the paper, put it over
the paper is of the same size so we´ll cut 1 cm of each side
mark
then cut it
now remove 1 cm down
because we need space to close the card, remove 1 cm up and 1 cm down
when it´s ready check that it can close
decorate the letter as you want
then wrap with contact paper
first measure the size, put the contact paper over the sheet to measure the width
leave 2 squares on each side
and mark with a pencil
then measure the length
leave 2 squares in the top and 2 in the bottom
remove the letter and cut the paper
cut 2 pieces of the same size
when you finish, wrap
drop the paper in the top
and leave 2 squares up the letter
I did it quickly and it´s not ok, you have to do it slowly
take off the table
and fold inward the leftover
I´m doing it quickly but it doesn´t matter if you do it slowly
when it´s ready check that it is well sealed
take the plastic and what you´ll put inside and the gel
put first the thicker things like sequins
and push to the bottom
when you finish put the glitter until the bottom
try to mix is as much as you can
when you finish mix
and try to take it to the bottom, then put the gel trying not to mess the edges
remember not to put too much because the card can burst
when you finish fold the top of the letter, if it´s gel in the edges clean it
fold inward
mark the fold and take the iron
put the washcloth and pass the iron over
don´t pass it too much time because you can burn the plastic
pass slowly along the edge
check that it´s working
and continue
when it´s well sealed you finished
now just mix the gel
