Hi, this is Richard Buccola here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village. Today
we're going to show you how to make some cream of mushroom soup. So, we're back just to recap,
I just want to tell everybody it's a real inexpensive, really flavorful, it's been around
for 60 plus years. It's been around that long for a reason, it taste good and that's the
bottom line. Under $25, I was actually able to get a bottle of wine. It's serves, this
particular thing will probably serve 2 or 3 people. So again, for 25 bucks, if you don't
want the wine, you're talking about under 15 bucks, you can make it for 3 to 4 people.
It's half of pound of fresh mushrooms, it's a tablespoon of butter, it's 2 tablespoons
of chopped onion, I used a half of onion, chop it up fine, a cup of warm chicken broth,
remember that? Or a cup and half, I always like to use a cup in a half, 2 tablespoons
of flour, a cup and half of the milk or the half and half. I like to use half and half,
it is better with the half and half, but try it the your way. A little bit of chopped parsley
for taste, salt and pepper for flavor. You're going to add, remember to put that mushroom
on the side to just garnish it and also 2 tablespoons of flour, I don't know if I said
that, but if I did just use it once. Bon a Petit and on behalf of Expert Village, thanks
for watching.
