The bell sleeves does exactly that, it goes to a bell shape at the wrist line. We have
it as being fitted along the natural lines of the arm, again, allow for a little bit
of give range of movement, especially if your bell sleeve is being created out of something
other than stretchy fabric. If you're doing especially like a mocha or your first draft
of shirt, and you do it in muslin, the unbleached muslin like you typically will do. If you
fit it directly to the measurements of the body that you're creating it for in muslin
or in a cotton that doesn't stretch, when you get it on it's going to be, you're going
to be like "Ooh, it's too small, it doesn't stretch". So therefore, it's either going
to rip off in it and you start all over or you just start all over, chalk it up to experience.
And remember, unless it's stretchy you got to allow ease of movement. There's measurement
for industrial standard ease of movement measurements that go correlate to each part of the body
which I will explain at a later date. But there are set industry standard measurements
that you can follow, it make it a lot easier. But a bell sleeve, just remember, ding, ***,
***, hah, hah, hah, it bells out, and then as such . That's all you got to do.
