Eating too much has its consequences.
This also means drinking too much.
Some times of the year, especially the weekends, many people take the opportunity to eat or drink anything and everything.
We consume everything put in front of us.
Excesses of food, alcohol, and fat create high levels of what are called "free radicals" in our body that, of course, must be eliminated.
These free radicals can lead to some uncomfortable symptoms.
The most common symptoms of a binge are: headache, abdominal bloating, heartburn, a stuffed feeling, lack of energy, feeling blue, dizziness, and a hangover.
Eating a lot doesn't just cause obesity, but also increases cholesterol, risk of heart attack and diabetes, and liquid retention.
If you've had a crazy weekend and the next day can't even get out of bed, or if you know you have a big party or holiday coming up, pay attention to these tips to detox after eating or drinking too much.

How to eliminate toxins after eating or drinking a lot.
These are the most effective techniques to detox after a weekend of partying, alcohol, or binging.
Apple cider vinegar for detoxing.
As soon as you get up and while your head is still spinning, take a spoonful of apple cider vinegar.
Yes, before breakfast.
Yes, even though you don't like the taste.
It has been proven that vinegar has diuretic and cleansing properties.
Those who have slight gastritis or think the taste of it is too strong for a Sunday morning (or afternoon) can mix one teaspoon of vinegar with 1 tablespoon of warm or room-temperature water.
Drink it in one gulp.
Those who have severe gastritis or chronic ulcers should not use this remedy.
Fruit juices.
These must be fresh-squeezed and natural.
Juice from concentrate or ready-bought juices don't count.
If you don't want to do it yourself, you can ask someone to make it for you.
It's not recommended to make the juice the night before, as it loses many of its nutritional properties.
However, if you live alone and know that the next day it will be hard to squeeze an orange while you have a hangover, leave it in the fridge before heading to the club.
The juices we recommend to detox the body are grapefruit, pineapple, and papaya.
And so, it's important not to add any sweetener like sugar or honey and to drink it at least 15 minutes before eating breakfast or lunch.
Hydration.
Drinking a lot of water will help you get rid of all the toxins that accumulated from your weekend, whether from food or drink, though especially from the latter.
Water contains everything your body needs to be healthy and clean.
Its cleansing effect is incomparable.
You can also drink natural herbal teas, cold or hot.
If your stomach hurts, try chamomile or mint.
You can keep a few small pots of herbs in the house for this purpose (they're very easy to take care of and can get you out of all kinds of trouble).
Fruits and vegetables.
In addition to the natural juices mentioned above, it's important to abstain for several days from heavy foods like red meat, white flour, soda, coffee, whole milk products, egg yolks, highly processed meat, fried foods, etc.
Instead, try to eat raw fruits and vegetables, especially colorful salads.
Physical activity.
Another good idea to detox your body after a weekend of partying is to exercise.
Why? Toxins will be eliminated from your body through sweating.
If you're not a fitness lover, try to at least move your body a little.
How? Go up the stairs instead of taking the elevator, get off the metro one stop early, go crazy cleaning your house, go shopping on foot or biking instead of driving, walk a bit more briskly, etc.

Keep it calm and quiet.
It's very important that, in addition to the four main meals of the day (breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner), you also add in two other light snacks (mid-morning and mid-afternoon).
Also, it's very important to eat slowly, deliberately, and chew your food well.
Remember that your stomach is a little damaged by what you've put it through the past night(s) and you don't want any more problems.
Try to follow a meal schedule and not wait to fill your stomach.
Eat smaller portions and try to not eat the same thing twice.
