Hi! This is Dave on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to be doing Chicken
Cacciatore. So what we are going to do is de-glaze this pan with all those great flavors
on the bottom, all those herbs and those veggie flavors with wine. We are going to use half-cup
of wine and this is going to burn off in the cooking process so don't worry about if kids
are having the dish or anything. What you want to do is we have a Moreau here. You can
use any type of red wine. You can use a Cabernet of Zinfandel. I like Moreau in mine but that
is just my preference. So you just want to open a bottle. We are just going to use a
half cup. So you want to use a wine that you like to drink in fact this is going to be
great with this Chicken Cacciatore so go ahead and open the bottle. We want about a half
cup in there to de-glaze the pan. So we are going to measure this out. Just about there.
Set that aside and we are going to pour this right into the pan. You will hear the sizzle
and then you want to move everything around and scrape up all of those little stickies
that are on the bottom here because that is going to depth the flavor to this.
