Did King Saul go to hell? and is King Solomon in heaven? What does the Bible say? So let's
take a look at what the Bible says. 1 Chronicles 10:13-14 (NKJV)
13 So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord, because
he did not keep the word of the Lord, and also because he consulted a medium for guidance.
14 But he did not inquire of the Lord; therefore He killed him, and turned the kingdom over
to David the son of Jesse. So here we see that Saul was unfaithful to
the Lord because he did not keep the word of the Lord. He also consulted a medium, a
wicht for guidance instead of seeking counsel from the Lord. So let's now turn over to
1 Chronicles 17:11-14 (NKJV)
11 And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must go to be with your fathers,
that I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish
his kingdom. 12 He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. 13
I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy away from him,
as I took it from him who was before you. 14 And I will establish him in My house and
in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever." So if we look back
in chapter 17 verse 13 of 1 Chronicles it states "I will be his Father" meaning King
Solomon here, OK? King Solomon is the one who build the House of the Lord not King David.
OK. The Lord is saying here, "I will be His Father and he shall be My son. I will not
take My mercy away from him" meaning He is not going to take His mercy away from King
Solomon as He took it away from him who was before him. Who was before King David? King
Saul. So here we see the Lord took Hid mercy away from King Saul. What did King Saul do?
He was unfaithful to the Lord; he did not obey the Lord. He did not keep the Lord's
words; he did not keep the Lord's commands. And he consulted a witch for guidance. And
the Lord took His mercy away from him. If the Lord takes His mercy away from you it
means you are going to hell; not heaven. Because you have got to have the mercy of the Lord
to go to heaven. So here He is saying to King David that his son is going to build His House-who
is king Solomon; that He is not going to take His mercy away from him. He also says here
in verse 14 of chapter 17 that He will establish in.."And I will establish him in My house
and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established
forever." which means King Solomon will be in His heaven which means he is in heaven
because the Lord says so. Alright, I just wanted to share it with you somethings that
I learn from studying Scriptures. Blessings.
