I think what you're seeing now is, whether
it's in the media or not is a different question, but I think what you're seeing
now is people are
Now, there are some people who say: "I want to grow this thing, I really believe in it.
I want to go raise a bunch of money". And then if they want to monetize now, later, whenever...
That's kind of there's their deal. Then there's another group that says:
"I don't know if this thing is going to be big or not, but I think
this is really valuable and because I don't know if it's going to be big or not,
I want to start charging from day one. Because I need to build a business."
To each his own. You have to figure out what you fundamentally want to do.
...in five or ten years. I think there's a lot of myth around how
quickly you need to grow, how quickly you need to take money, and
how quickly you need to iterate on your product and stuff like that...
